The looks (styling), the size and weight of the bike. the low seat height(I'm only 5'7) The 650cc engine. Black and Chrome (03). Yes, the price was a factor also, but as far as styling goes, the Savage was the only one around 500 or 600cc that caught my eye. "Simplicity is beauty"....an orental saying by the way.
